Why can't I find your store location?

A: We are located at 217 W 4th St. Next to Michael's Shoes, on Thomas Plaza. In Carroll, Iowa.

Why is the word Bakery in your store name?

A: Currently, we are a secondhand bookstore only. However, we don't plan to be forever. Stay updated with what we are doing as a business by following our social media and keeping an eye on our website.

Can I donate/consign items other than books?

A: YES. We accept donations of a wide range. We rely heavily on used books for our inventory, however we also accept: art supplies, puzzles, crosswords, activity books, etc. Contact the store to see if we are able to accept your items. 

How do I know if I'm getting a used or new book?

A: We put the condition of the book in its description. We also keep books categorized by "new" and "secondhand." If you are wanting a brand new, unread, unused book, please search our selection. 

I purchased a book and now I don't want it. Can I return it?

A: Yes, we accept returns up to 30 days. Read our refund policy to know more.

A lot of the books you sell are used. Does this mean I don't have a chance of getting a book in good condition when shopping with you?

A: Not at all! We do thorough look throughs of each used book in our inventory to ensure it is in good, great and like new condition. The condition of each book is listed in its description, so customers know exactly what they are receiving when they purchase. Often times, we place our "heavily loved" books in our bargain bin and price them for less than a dollar. Read the description of our products to ensure you're purchasing the item you're interested in.

What are your hours?

A: Currently, our hours are:

Sunday: Closed 

Monday-Friday: 11-5 

Saturday: 10-3

A: We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express), PayPal, Venmo, and Cash

How do I check the status of my order?

A: Log in, select 'My Account' and 'Orders.' A list of all orders and their current status is provided.
